CNC Machining Materials
Metals and engineering plastics for custom CNC parts — aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, copper, and more.
CNC machining materials we work with
We machine a wide range of metals and engineering plastics for prototype and production orders. Each material has different machining characteristics — we'll advise on the best option for your application and budget during DFM review.
Aluminum alloys
6061-T6, 6063, 7075, 5052. Lightweight, excellent machinability, good strength-to-weight ratio. Common applications: brackets, housings, heat sinks, fixtures, enclosures.
Stainless steels
303, 304, 316/316L, 17-4PH. Corrosion-resistant, high strength. Common applications: shafts, fittings, marine and food-grade parts, medical device housings (non-implant).
Carbon and alloy steels
1045, 4140, 20#. High strength and wear resistance for load-bearing parts. Common applications: gears, shafts, structural components, tooling.
Brass, copper, and engineering plastics
C36000 brass, C11000 copper, POM (Delrin), Nylon (PA6/PA66), PEEK, ABS, PC, PTFE. Good conductivity, chemical resistance, or electrical insulation depending on material.
